Chiropractic Works!

Several years ago I was in a bad car accident. At the time I thought the pain would just go away, but it never did. Over time I started having headaches that eventually turned into migraines. The headaches would get so bad I would have to sleep for hours on end. At times they were so bad I would miss going out with my family. The neck pain made it impossible to do important things that I loved like gardening. My medical doctors weren’t able to help and pretty much said I had to live with it. Finally I got tired of taking Advil three times a day to hide the symptoms and decided to find the cause.

A friend recommended that I talk to her chiropractor, Dr. Hennes. My first visit was great. Dr. Hennes asked me questions about my health and condition; he took the time to do a thorough examination and even took x-rays of my spine. He found the problem was two of my vertebrae were out of alignment and irritating the nerves in my neck. Since these nerves control the muscles, and the blood vessels in the brain, this was the cause of my headaches. After a few weeks of adjustments to get the pressure off of the nerves, I no longer suffered from headaches, and my neck pain started to go away.

Getting under chiropractic care was the best thing I have ever done for my health. I only wish I would have gone to Dr. Hennes sooner. Life is too short and your quality time with those you love and the activities you love to do is too important to miss out. Chiropractic care is safer than the drugs I used to take. I still see Dr. Hennes from time to time for a tune up to make sure I stay healthy, just like changing the oil in your car. I can’t imagine my life without chiropractic care, wouldn’t want to. My entire family sees Dr. Hennes because I want them to be as healthy as possible and live a good life. He is a part of my life and I consider him my friend.

I Believe in Angels

If I knew then what I know now then I could have avoided half of a lifetime of pain.

Thirty years I had suffered with headache, neck and back pain. My lower back pain got so bad I finally gave into surgery. Not realizing how vulnerable this left me, I ended up re-injuring my back two more times and the pain never really stopped.

Over the years I have been to primary physicians where I was treated with three separate medications that failed and still left me in pain. I truly thought I lost all hope after seeing an Orthopedic Specialist, after the x-rays and examination I was told that I would have to live with this pain for the rest of my life. At this point I could no longer enjoy the thing that made me happy. All my life I have been very active going to the gym every day. I loved to exercise! All the energy I had! Now I was down to only twice a week due to my pain and very little energy to spare. I had to cut back to working only one day a week and it was harder than ever to enjoy my family and friends and everything that I held dear.

One month ago a lady who recognized me from the gym was just leaving Dr. Hennes’ office as I was going in to pick up a prescription at the same building. She convinced me to give chiropractic a try. After about the third treatment I began seeing results and feeling relief! I can work in the yard & exercise without pain! To live again, after thirty years without pain!
